Resale Therapy

Today is the four month anniversary of Interiors Now Furniture Consignment's opening and we couldn't be happier with the way things are going.  As we apply discounts on a monthly basis, we are noticing that there are many items leaving the store before we even get a chance to mark them down!  Just this week we had four claw-foot chairs walk in the door on Monday and back out on Tuesday.  Some of our new consignors who are doing a bit of Spring Cleaning are seeing a lot of green as our favorite customers come in for a little resale therapy.

Happy New Year!

So we're curious--what creative DIY ideas will you use this year to update your home with consignment furniture? We're collecting creative ideas to help our customers create one-of-a-kind decorator ideas using our consignment furniture collections.  There are tons of great sources on the web for re-doing furniture, from ikea hackers to great regional bloggers like southernhospitalityblog.com.  We really like the look of furniture updated with chalkboard paint, which is surprisingly easy to use.  You may have even noticed the cute chalkboard tables we've posted on our facebook page.

We're well-stocked with media cabinets, especially since many of our consigners have recently upgraded to larger flat-screen TVs, so we've been combing pinterest for ideas on what to do with them.   We've found tons of fun looking projects, from the classy armoire bar to the more whimsical armoire chicken coop.
